The exquisite wall and ceiling paintings & sculptures of Buddha’s life at Ajanta Caves are popular all around the world and considered as the finest examples of Buddhist pictorial art. Moreover, Ellora Caves are believed to have been built by the rulers of the Rashtrakuta Dynasty and serve as the epitome of rock-cut architecture in India. The Ajanta and Ellora caves elegantly transmit the aspects of decency, charm and serenity reminiscent of Buddha himself and his teachings.

Fatehpur Sikri - Established by Emperor Akbar from the twin villages of Fatehpur and Sikri, this place is a tribute to famous Sufi saint, Sheikh Salim Chishti. Situated 40 kilometers from Agra, Uttar Pradesh, this place has retained many of the old structures, because of the efforts of the Archaeological department. It holds some of the finest example of the culmination of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Fatehpur Sikri Mosque is said to be a copy of the mosque in Mecca and has designs, derived from the Persian & Hindu architecture. Diwan-I-Am, Diwan-Khana-I-Khaas, and Daulat-Khana-I-Khaas are few other tourist attractions in Fatehpur Sikri.
