Can I use acrylic ink for calligraphy cartridge pen?
I use a Rotring Art Pen with ink cartridge and I was given silver acrylic ink for speedball. Instructions says only fountain pen ink and rotring cartridges can be used. Will the pen become clogged?
Use acrylic only if you want to ruin your pen. It will clogg it and you won’t be able to remove it afterwards, even with thinner. Follow the instructions, since the maker knows what its telling you (they try all kinds of things in their products so that you can be satisfied –and they won’t get sued–).
